A portion of the proceeds were donated to the ThYck Troupe Organization, and guests were provided with a discount on AKIRA merchandise. The event was held at the AKIRA store in the Westfield Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills, IL, was heavily attended by ThYck Troupe supporters and was a success! |

IBM grant programs are designed to apply IBM’s resources to specific projects that fit within our targeted areas of interest, and to enhance IBMers’ support of their communities worldwide. IBM was impressed with the ThYck Troupe's Multimedia Initiative, and awarded financial support to assist the us in building the initial program infrastructure. |

Our organization can be further strengthened by Foundations, Corporations and/or Individual donors funding our work in organizational capacity building, leadership development, and board of directors formation. We also wish to partner with various government agencies to bring critical resources to programs in the areas of health services and childhood obesity. In addition, we wish to work with real estate entities to secure a permanent home for our multimedia studio and performing arts workspace.
